RAFAEL BERIGÜETE

Civil Engineer, Specialist in Complex Systems, Master in Project Management and PhD in Sustainability. More than 15 years of professional life in management of sustainability and knowledge.

He is currently dedicated, fundamentally to the structuring of projects for the GCF, GEF, IKI, and NAMA-Facility, including the preparation of access strategies to these sources of resources, and to elaborating the narrative for models of Shared Socioeconomic Trajectories. He has participated in Clean Development Mechanism Activities (CDM), Nationally Appropriate Mitigation Actions (NAMAs), Low Carbon Development Strategies (LEDS) and National Adaptation Plans (NAPs) in different Latin American and Caribbean countries. He is the research coordinator for the Brightline Institute, where he has accumulated significant experience in applied research and review of NDCs, supported by publications in scientific journals. He has been the academic coordinator of Social Responsibility, Resilient Communities, Public-Private Partnerships and Green Financing programs.
