In the Dominican Republic, a focus on circular economies and synergies between adaptation and mitigation has emerged as a central theme. This includes how to apply these to nature based and nature inspired solutions, including through their interaction with carbon and natural cycles.

The Dominican team will also seek to enhance learning, skill and capacity across Dominican Society and Government actors and stakeholders, around education and learning opportunities for life, skills, knowledge and understanding, with the hope of these findings to contribute to a more permanent institutional setting.
